Mink Pink Star Print Dress
This simple five point motif proved to be the hottest trend this Spring Summer 08’, with YSL, Pucci, and Chanel, among others reaching for the skies to add a smattering of star spangle to their collections on the catwalk.
And, when Kate Moss got in on the act when she donned a Chanel ‘star’ jumpsuit complete with ‘The Flash’ style face paint for her 34th birthday, it was no surprise that this trend would go into overdrive.
The star print is perfect for both day and night, and can be worn dressed up or down, with pieces in darker colours like black or navy proving to be a more sophisticated look.
This Mink Pink Star Print Dress is the perfect pick as it combines not only this fabulously chic celestial print, but also incorporates the forever feminine and sexy pussy bow, another strong style forecasted for this season. $69.95. For Stockists call (02) 9212 4788 |

Adidas Originals
For the past few seasons we have be inundated with ballet pumps, and now we are somewhat jaded. There are only so many styles and embellishments that can make the humble flat exciting, and the craze seems to have waned.
Now it is time to reconsider the sneaker, and with a season of reissues upon us, it is now the best time to get into a pair of kicks. 2007 saw the classic 1979 ‘top ten’ Adidas sneaker get a ‘sleek’ revamp, and for anyone not familiar with the Adi ‘sleek’ treatment, it entails taking a vintage classic and iconic men’s silhouette, slimming it down, and adding some feminine touches.
This year the rejuvenated silhouette is back, with the addition of a fresh white/red colour-way, sexy cool silver ankle padding and Olympic inspired stripe detailing.
Slip on a pair with some Cheap Monday black skinnies for instant street creed, or do a Lily Allen by pairing with this season’s prom style frocks for a quirky twist. $150. For Stockists call Sarah at Golightly PR (02) 9699 8655 |

Indigo Tuxedo
After the untimely passing of Monsieur Saint Laurent last month, many are rediscovering the pieces that YSL was most famous for inventing, and responsible for ensuring that they were a staple in every woman’s wardrobe.
When YSL introduced the first female trouser suit in 1966 called ‘Le Smoking’, it was a complete fashion scandal. Now, it is one of the most coveted outfits on the catwalk, and considered the most revolutionary and chic staple in women’s fashion.
This Indigo Tuxedo is pure sophisticated perfection, and presents power dressing at its best with a twist of sexiness in which YSL would surely approve.
The great thing about the Tuxedo is that you can use the jacket as a separate, and pair with cocktail dress on a chilly evening or with jeans and a t-shirt for Parisian chic. Jacket $399 and Pant $199, www.indigoboutique.com.au. For Stockists call (03) 9826 1530
