To place a bet on the Donna Karan Spring collection being a smash success in 2010 would be safe one.
The established fashionista has rarely had a misstep in her decades in the industry. The new collection is, in the words of Donna Karan 'inspired by the power of the elements — the sky, water, wind, sand, earth and fire.' Certainly a different concept in the plastic, industrial fashion world.
You can see the natural influence on the clothes, some look like the model is permanently caught in a strong breeze, there are sweeping capes and, classy, conservative skirts. Certainly another success.
