2. Jessica Kagan Cushmann Bangle. Jessica Kagan Cushmann’s Scrimshaw bangles where around way before they were infamously and allegedly copied by Chanel. The ousting of the French Powerhouse by the fashion press prompted this extremely talented designer to not only speak out, but retaliate by creating the Ripped-Off by Chanel Scrimshaw Bangle.
Cushman’s original pre-ban antique ivory bangles engraved with quotes and phrases from movies, literature and even NY graffiti usually fetch upwards of around US$2500…. but these Resin Reproduction Scrimshaw Bangles that are the real deal, are an affordable splurge at around $159-$180 and look fabulous alone or layered with other bangles and trinkets.
$159-180. Available at www.miijo.com.au |

4. Something Else Leather Zip Jacket The leather jacket shows no sign of slowing again this winter, and this cropped black biker number is just the ticket from Something Else.
While the fifties theme seems to be popular on the catwalk this season with the likes of Prada showing full skirts and cute cardi’s from the era, you can’t help but think of Grease goody two-shoes Sandie.
So, how could we forget her alter ego? The Black Biker looks hot with an oversized tee, skin- tight leggings and spray on jeans, or sugar and spice over an Autumn/Winter knit dress, party frock and next season’s florals.

5. Camilla and Marc Sequinned Dress This sequinned dress from Camilla and Marc’s Autumn/Winter 08’ collection is pure sex confection, and by far the best party frock I have seen this season. While many may think that sequins are reminiscent of those horrific eighties shoulder-padded nightmares, Autumn/ Winter 08’ sequins are in fact very sexy with an array of eye-catching dresses and tunics on offer.
Spangle, Sequins and Pailettes are big news this season, and were shown by numerous designers including Pucci, Chanel, Fendi and uber-cool Luella Bartley. So, follow their lead with this arresting version from Camilla and Marc. With its fabulous mix of cut, colour and pattern you will capture the attention of all onlookers.
