If you have time, nerves and money, take a trip to Tokyo.

One of the worlds most stylish cities offers shops, department stores and fashionable kids in every corner of the street.

Unlike other fashion meccas, Tokyo makes it quite easy for a fashionista to shop, see exhibitions, fashion shows and underground stores, because whole districts of the megalopolis are contributed to fashion, style, art and glamour.

Shibuya is already known worldwide as Japan's center of new trends.

Shibuya 109 (hyaku kyu), is the boiling center of young fashion and styling.

Entering the department store feels like entering a fashion club.

Loud music fills the air when crowds of excited girls, screaming "kawaiiiii!" while spending all their money on the latest stuff.

Fashion Victims from all over Japan visit Shibuya 109 to get clothes, accessories, shoes, make up and even wigs that are all the rage.

Strolling through the packed streets of the district is like a fashion preview, there you can see the stuff people in Europe will wear two or three seasons later.

Many European and American trend scouts visit Tokyo every season to get inspired by the crazy street fashion.

Harajuku, not far from Shibuya,  supplies punks, goths, and gothic Lolita kids with the latest stuff.

On Sundays, head to toe styled kids cover the streets, wearing Vivienne Westwood and underground pieces, perfectly matched to individual outfits.

This district already inspired world famous designers like Galliano or Gwen Stefani.

Comme des Garçons, Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, and other world famous fashion designers started their career in Harajuku, took small shops and ateliers that where cheap to rent a few decades ago. The success of these Japanese designers led to a great popularity of the Harajuku district, but also to extreme high rents.

Nowadays, companies like Gucci, Prada or Versace, which can afford the high priced streets like Omotesando in Harajuku build their flagship stores there, while most of the younger designers refer to smaller streets in the district.

The other fashion (and luxury) runway in Tokyo is the Ginza.

This is the place, where the financially lucky people go, buying European designer fashion in 7 floor luxury stores.

The Ginza fashionista looks totally different than the Harajuku girl, rather wearing Dior high heels than Gothic Lolita platform boots.

The Ginza district and the local shops and department stores, provide perfect service and high end products, to fill the souls of every style queen with total satisfaction.

One of the hot spots on the Ginza is the Chanel flagship store. A large black building decorated with double C logos is covered with LCD screens, showing artistic interpretations of Chanel graphics when sun goes down.

The most amazing thing about fashion, style and shopping in Tokyo, is the way you feel as a costumer.

Everywhere you go, no matter how much you can spend, you are treated like a celebrity.

Friendly, kind, and helpful employees are standard, and even if it is just a part of the marketing, it feels very pleasing.
