“Giving back is the new black.”

Instant RockStar and Oyster Magazine will host a fashion and music event this Wednesday May 28th at Roxanne Parlour in Melbourne's CBD. The aim is to raise awareness of the impact human activities have on our environment while celebrating a desire for change.

Three Six Five (Australian distributor of Paul Mitchell) is also involved.

“It’s about being responsible and raising awareness to an uneducated marketplace. We hope to promote and encourage a shift in attitude towards more ethical buying and becoming a change maker in the world,” says company director, Margie Ardono.

Showcased will be the 2008-09 catwalk hair fashions and music entertainment provided by Australian acts The Scientist of Modern Music, Flamingo Crash and Jennifer Tutty.
