Alannah Hill's Fool for Love show attracted some of the biggest crowds of the week, and the excited audience was treated to a girly and sexy glamour fest.

Hill's troupe of showgirls and raunchy dancers presented the most outrageously feminine and whimsical collection of the week. The autumn/winter collection included adorable beaded knits, French lace wrap blouses entwined with satin ribbon, ruffled cheerleader skirts and suit separates of polka-dotted cord and candy-hued tweed. The lingerie-inspired pieces were sensual and old-Hollywood glamorous, with lace-trimmed silk bias slips, delicate camisoles and French knickers.

Parisian chic manifested in a classic piped trench coat and elegant crystal-encrusted pale pink lace suit. But the prettiest pieces were from the spring/summer '04 collection: we can look forward to silk flapper dresses with glass beading, a crystal-hemmed French lace skirt and fanciful matching capelet, and the usual delightful myriad of sparkle and colour expected from this charming Melbourne gal.
