AS UPDATED 26TH NOVEMBER:

It's official... after months of speculation, the Future Music Festival lineup for Sydney and Melbourne has finally been confirmed.

As rumoured, The Chemical Brothers will be heading the event with their new live show that debuted at Glastonbury earlier this year.

Next in line is John Digweed who will be touring off the back of what’s been a massively successful 12 months for the veteran DJ. He also recently released the third installment of his Transitions series of CDs to critical acclaim.

Germany’s Sven Vath will be returning to Australia for the first time in four years. Also making the list are Eddie Halliwell and Marcus Schultz, along with house music legend Roger Sanchez. The latter will be joined by rising Dutch DJ/producer Laidback Luke, who recently starred alongside Sanchez on mixing duties for the Afterdark Volume 3 compilation.

Plus, tech-funk’s finest Elite Force will be present along with Baile funk DJ/producer Diplo, American MC Aesop Rock will be representing the hip hop alongside Kid Koala and DJ Yoda, while names like Robbie Rivera and Mark Knight will ensure that house fans are more than satisfied.

With the first round lineup announcement just a few days away, the rumor mill is spinning at double time, with the Chemical Brothers tipped as likely headliners. According to industry whispers, the likes of Sasha & Digweed, Roger Sanchez, Eddie Halliwell and Markus Shulz are likely to join the UK duo.
