Homebake returns to Sydney on Saturday December 8, with another solid list of local and almost-local artists booked to keep you shakin’ ya rumpa.
Operator Please have been added to the line-up, alongside the legendary Divinyls, Missy Higgins, Sarah Blasko, Cut Copy, Gotye, Josh Pyke, Midnight Juggernauts and Scene HQ favourites, Mammal.
Already organizers are pushing their ‘scalper aware’ position, introducing a range of methods for keeping the vampires at bay while getting tickets into the hands of people who actually want to go to the gig.
They are also touting this year’s event as ‘The Ladies Domain’ due to the large number of talented chicks on the bill and possibly also because they’re a bit scared of Chrissy Amphlett. Fair enough too.

A message from Homebake August 7 2007
The organisers of Homebake '07 have introduced a range of measures designed to ensure tickets are sold to festival supporters, rather than the scumbags who make lots of money preying on them outside the stadium. It's worth knowing where yo stand so here is the official policy regarding scalpers:
Please note that due to the scourge of that offensive behaviour we know as 'scalping', we here at Homebake HQ will endeavour to prevent this practice by implementing the delayed dispatch of tickets. So folks, in accordance with our strict conditions noted on all tickets + on this website and associated ticket sales sites including Ticketek - and including the following points:
Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged nor replaced after purchase.
Should this ticket be re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain, the ticket will become void and the holder may be refused entry or be evicted from the venue.
We therefore give you notice that all tickets purchased for Homebake 07
WILL NOT be mailed to purchaser until MONDAY NOVEMBER 12TH, 2007.
You also have the option to collect your ticket from agencies on this date.
There will be no exception to this rule, thus if you do intend on buying a ticket to Homebake, you will not receive it until after November 12th. (Please note separate Ticketek conditions for office box office collections)
We do appreciate your support of Homebake and do hope that this system will assist those who genuinely wish to attend the event.
Many thanks in advance for your attention with this important matter
NB: - Unfortunately due to increasingly strict licensing regulations, please note that HOMEBAKE 07 is an OVER 18’S ONLY event. We apologise in advance although rules and regulations have somewhat forced this new policy from hereon in. Therefore you MUST be OVER 18 (eighteen) years of age to purchase a ticket.
