If you’re keen to go to Homebake, you’re next opportunity is December 2009.

Because this year’s event has already sold out, with 20,000 tickets walking out the door in just 10 minutes.

That’s less time than it takes to read the line-up.

Of course, the reason for the frenzy is the reputation that precedes the event. In the last few years Homebake has hosted every local and international act worth shaking a stick at, with The Divinyls coming out of retirement to blow away last year’s audience.

This year looks even better (especially now all the tickets have gone), with Crowded House and Sneaky Sound System supplying the ‘something old, something new’ fodder.

And, if you feel like continuing the analogy, the ‘something borrowed, something blue’ award looks like going to Bliss N Eso and Kasey Chambers.
