Rewind to March 2007 when over 50,000 fans flipped their proverbial lids to spectacular performances from such once-in-a-lifetime, gold-ticket music luminaries as Pixies, Beck, Pet Shop Boys, Groove Armada, Gnarls Barkley, Phoenix, The Rapture, Jarvis Cocker and Soulwax - amongst others - in Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Building on the success of 2007 V Festival will not only revisit Sydney and the Gold Coast but will leap and bound further across the country, launching new events in both Melbourne and Perth for 2008.
And, as promised, V Festival has pulled a remarkable swag of rabbits out of its musical hat for the 2008 lineup.
