For over 16 years WOMAD, has been bringing the sights and sounds of the world to a park in the centre of the City of Churches, for one masterfully presented weekend of global beats.

WOMAD 08 will see over 400 artists from 20 countries join forces to celebrate cultural diversity and the power of music. From 7-9 March an impressive lineup of established performance greats will share the stage with emerging talent.

Plus, with over 100 food, craft and display stalls, as well as, street theatre, performance installations and visual art workshops - there's no shortage of stimulating diversions for punters from all walks.
