The future is bright for this young crossover artist. Hailing from Melbourne, CC Martini’s sound is a wild concoction of pop and rock, fusing rap and catchy melodies over crunching guitars and electro beats. Her mischievous lyrics capture the imagination and draw you in on the first listen.

After years of forging a music identity, starting in all-girl band Venus In Warpaint, and then developing as a solo artist, it’s been an interesting journey for CC Martini. From pop to grunge, drum & bass to electronic music, her taste is varied, and this is reflected in her album. But mostly, it’s CC’s infectious, playful personality that comes thru – rebellious, cheeky, sassy and energetic.

This small-town girl has come a long way, travelling the world and writing songs, then coming home to team up with vocalist and friend Tiffany Kommedal and guitar guru Kent Morris. Together they created the perfect blender for all the ideas and infl uences that had been effervescing in CC Martini’s head.

The result is the All The Way album, a wondrous concoction of guitars, beats, rhymes, melodies and pure exuberism. CC has already achieved great success with her debut single “Champagne Taste”, which reached No.1 on the AIR charts. The single was also added to rotation on Nova 100 Melbourne, Edge 96.1FM Sydney, Kiss FM Melbourne, Star FM Network, Coast FM Tasmania and more. The colourful video was seen on Video Hits, Rage, myspace and YouTube. The second single, “Double Dutch”, is released on ITunes April 22.

It’s an absolute killa, with crunching guitars and a super catchy hook. The music video will behitting TV screens soon, with double dutch skippers, breakdancers, hula hoopers, gymnasts and more.

With a national tour supporting Eve fast approaching, the time couldn’t be better to drop CC’s full-length debut album, featuring her brand new hit Double Dutch.
