Melbourne outfit Car Stereo Wars independently released their debut album For Your Comfort and Safety at the beginning of this month through Greg Records, having chosen to take their music in a different direction.
The album follows two EP releases, with their track "Come To Nothing" having been included on a Ministry Of Sound Chillout Sessions compilation. Soon after, the band parted ways with their previous label to work on a more pop based sound.
The recording process was finally completed in 2008 after being delayed as a result of births, deaths, and day job commitments. It showcases the band's knack for genre mixing and is available for purchase directly from their website: www.carstereowars.com.
Local songstress Krista Polvere and guests support Car Stereos for their album release.
When: Thursday 28 August
