Some press releases are so tedious it’s hard to get to the end without stabbing yourself repeatedly in the face.

Others offer punchy and interesting soundbites, despite promoting artists you would rather kick than hear.

But this one from the desk of Martin Martini is so obscure I’ve decided to make it my “Nonsensical Blog of the Week”.

Martini and his Bone Palace Orchestra have been described as the most original band in the history of the world, which may sound like his mum wrote it, but she didn’t. Dave Callan did.

Live, they are more fun than a whoopee cushion, while their new album is the musical equivalent of eating chocolate trifle in the nude.
