Splendour In The Grass, Australia’s premier mid winter music festival will return to the beautiful sub tropical environs of Byron Bay for its 7th birthday this August. To be held once again at Belongil Fields, this year the event will take place at a slightly later than usual timeframe with the new dates of Saturday August 4th and Sunday August 5^th and will feature a stellar cast of music performers from here and around the globe.

The personalised ticketing system that was introduced in 2006 will again be in effect this year along with an exciting Green Ticket initiative. The 2007 event tickets are $185 inc gst + b/fee & camping tickets are $115 inc gst + b/fee per person and are only available online at the official Splendour In The Grass website and by phone on 1300 762 545.

Individual day tickets will no longer be sold on the day.

This year in partnership with Climate Friendly Splendour In The Grass is offering punters the option to buy a green ticket, which will offset the average carbon emissions generated by their travel to and from the event. Splendour In The Grass has always recognised the importance of protecting the environment while putting on a great show. For the past 2 years they have offset 100% of their carbon emissions associated with running the show. Last year Splendour In The Grass also decided to help offset 10% of travel emissions of festival goers by buying carbon credits on their behalf. This year for an additional $3.50 on top of your event ticket price ($188.50 + b/f) your travel emissions can be completely neutralised. By electing to buy a green ticket you can ensure that your festival experience will be carbon neutral. If one out of every two festival goers elected to purchase a green ticket over 1,360 tonnes of carbon would be neutralised. That is equivalent to removing 316 cars from our roads or a year or filling over 700,000 wheelie bins with CO2.
