The self proclaimed diva himself, Canadian big band singer Michael Buble, graced the stage at Perth’s sold out Challenge Stadium, for his first show in over 2 years and Call me Irresponsible album tour.
The first of 5 nights boasted an amazing performance from Buble and his sensational band. Im your Man, Fever, Mrs Jones, Sway and the brilliantly mastered Home were among the many songs effortlessly showcased.
The starry-eyed fans were complimented by more than just the singer’s talents. Buble made countless comical, but kind gestures, to involve the ‘more than thrilled’ audience. Buble may have sold millions of albums but he is more grounded than most. Taking the time to personally recognise 12 year old Alex, one of his youngest fans, is just one of the reasons his shows are sold out Australia wide.
Naturally 7 the opening act, raised the energy levels while Buble stole the thunder. The tongue in cheek, charismatically sheepish yet childish Buble, made Perth feel like his one and only venue.
An undoubtedly impressionable performance all round.
