I could tell you about the journey Bliss n Eso have been through to get to where they are today, but that is somewhat irrelevant to whether this album is quality or not. And quality it is. If you like diverse lyrics, clever sampling and great production, Flowers in the Pavement is a must have Hip-Hop album. Bliss n Eso, have been the supporting act for many massive international acts such as Jurassic 5, The Roots, Black Eyed Peas & Blackalicious, and it-s no surprise why they got these acts after listening up. Although interludes throughout Flowers in the Pavement are kinda -private jokes- that have developed with the guys over their careers (so if Bliss n Eso are new to you, skip these!), Flowers in the Pavement is jam packed full of cool samples, clever melodies, crazy mceeing, singing and chorusing. Orchestral sampling in -The Tunnel of Love- is an absolute ripper and synth melodies in -This is for you- shows their diverse talents and a massive reminder these guys know what they-re on about! Excellent album. 8.5/10 Track Listing1. Evolution (intro)2. Creepy3. Rubbed the lamp the wrong way4. Vagina Ice5. Clean the tub6. Pigs in the porn trough7. I love you but-8. The tunnel of love9.
