Guy Richie has called in the big guns.

Following news that he and pop dinosaur Madonna are about to part company, Richie’s mum has weighed into the debate, labeling the rumors as ‘tosh’.

Lady Amber Leighton, whose son used to be a film director before taking on the role of Madge’s sidekick, went on to say that reports of a divorce are completely unfounded.

 “There’s no conversation about divorce because there is no divorce” she said.  “They are not getting divorced; the speculation is TT — that’s total tosh.”

Madonna’s ‘Sticky and Sweet’ world tour kicks off in August, while Richie’s new movie (see, I told you he was a director) Rocknrolla is due to hit the big screen in September.
