Heather Mills McCartney is set to receive a $108 million leg up from her estranged husband, in a divorce settlement that must make being married to the crazy bitch seem almost doable.

The pair has been involved in a bitter break up for almost as long as they have known each other, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, in the form of a large royalty cheque made out to ‘Stumpy’.

Not that McCartney’s likely to be too concerned. Sir Paul has an estimated wealth of over $1.8 billion, as well as the adoration of the British public and a string of dates lined up with Rosanna Arquette and Nancy Shevell.

So things are looking up.

Mills, on the other hand, is keeping her mind focused on the cash. After the ex-stripping fund raiser’s wooden performance on Dancing with the Stars, she has clearly realized that she’s going to need a few Beatle bucks to get back on her foot.

Reports that Mills’ application for alimony took the form of a ransom note are unconfirmed.
