Amy Winehouse’s chavvie husband was yesterday sentenced to 27 months behind bars for assaulting a pub landlord, then trying to hush him up with $400,000 cash.

Judge David Radford described Blake Fielder-Civil’s actions as “gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful” and went on to say that defense lawyer Jeremy Dein’s “exemplary good character” assertion was “stretching it”.

Fielder-Civil has been locked up for the past 9 months after admitting to the crime, and could therefore be freed as early as December.

That means Amy only has 2 more sleep before she’s reunited with the man of her (disturbing) dreams.
