Rapping bad boy DMX was behind bars last night, after allegedly giving a false name to avoid paying his medical bills. 

The 37 year old homie and his lawyer remained unusually quiet, but sheriff Joe Arpaio claimed DMX used the moniker Troy Jones on hospital records, rather than the one his mum chose for him, Earl Simmons. 

Whatever his name, the star of such ‘classic’ hip hop moments as “Dog Love” and “great Depression” is well used to having his collar felt,  after being busted earlier this year for animal cruelty and neglect, with a few drug and weapon charges thrown in for good measure.

Early reports allege DMX's lawyer asked for his first 2 albums to be taken into consideration during sentencing.
