'in a box or in a bag'? you do know that the lyrics on the video aren't actually the lyrics to the song right? shit! i mean shit! but seriously though....shit! ok so the lyric is actually "I said, I don't know whether I was the boxer or the bag" and as kat said(finally!) it is a metaphor meaning something along the lines of "I don't know if I was the one inflicting the damage, or whether I was the one being abused".
